Don't send photos of yourself or children by phone

Don't give him more pictures than he gives you

Make them write the date or your name if using a cam

Learn how to do a screen shot

Don't always think it is dating when you write to a penfriend

Don't give them connections to your family by saying I am on facebook

Be aware that one scammer can have two or three profiles on the same site and whilst you think you can trust one person with a photograph. You may even be talking to three people who are in fact the same person

Don't think length of time matters. I wrote for a whole year then began to trust.
