I'm single because I'm a scatterbrain

by Linay
(Sacramento, CA)

I'm single for many reasons:

1. There are still so many things I want to accomplish in life. Marriage and family (in my opinion) will prevent or take longer for me to accomplish that.

2. Haven't met a guy that makes me feel i can accomplish anything in this world, and inspires me to be my absolute best in reaching my fullest potential in this life.

3. I always have a full plate on my schedule. That's the story of my life!

4. My circle of friends (guys and girls) are single and very fun, down to earth...

If I'm gonna be with someone, I deserve to be treated with the utmost respect, love, patience, and kindness. I'll be and do the same for him in return. Otherwise, I'd rather be single for the rest of my life than be with someone who is unwilling to treat the relationship in that manner. Also, I'm cautious when it comes to relationships. I don't admire my parent's marriage and relationship one bit. Unfortunately, I've seen mostly the negative side of relationships through my family upbrining and friends. I am not about to repeat history and bring upon the same emotional turmoil on my children that I went through. It stops here for good. So, thats why I'm single. Nevertheless, it doesn't ruin my hopes and efforts to find someone special in my life. Everybody's circumstances are different but, there is someone for everyone if we're willing to make the effort to put ourselves out there and proactively seek it. That's my problem. I'm caught up with so much stuff that I don't even know where to fit dating in my schedule. So, I just need to clear off a few things from my schedule and make time for dating. :)
