Dated Widower of 6 years

I just recently ended a relationship with a widower who suddenly lost his wife. She was 39 and he was 15 years her senior. He has been on match and pursued me quite a bit. However, his home continues to be a shrine to his wife. There are pictures of her on every table....more than you would find if she were alive, I bet!

He stops at her grave every night to water the flowers. He has not replaced a single item in his house and continues to water the dying and crowded potted flowers that she placed in her kitchen stand. After 8 months of dating him, there is not one picture of me to be seen and he cannot tell his in-laws that he is dating.

Tread carefully when dating a widower. Look for the warning signs. You can not fix him.
